HI! I'm MariaGiusy, but you can call me Nina. I'm the founder of CapriNina. In the beginning, CapriNina was my biggest dream. It was a place of refuge where I could pour out all my passion and creativity. Over time, this dream took shape and transformed into a project that's now joyfully shared with my family. It's become a journey that we embrace together with enthusiasm and dedication. Each creation brings with it a story of love for craftsmanship and a commitment to beauty and uniqueness. My home
I live on Capri, which is a wonderful island not only for its extraordinary natural beauty. This island also offers the possibility for free expression, a place where you can leave behind the monotony and hectic pace of daily life, with all its rules and standards. Here,
you can fully experience the sea, the sun, and, above all else, simply be yourself.
CapriNina embodies all of this. Making your beauty visible to the world is our mission. Your smile is our priority. Capturing your feminine essence is our greatest joy. This is the heart of our work: making happiness our only true goal.
My passion
My passion for handcrafting bags, shawls, jewelry, and other creations started in the early years of my childhood. I still remember drawers full of drawings, dreams, and emotions that I carefully saved. I was waiting for the moment when I would become an adult, to give those desires a life of their own.
As I grew up, this passion flourished and transformed with me. Every new challenge and every new creation was a step forward in my journey. This was all fueled by the creative spirit my mother passed on to me, together with my father's determination and constant hard
work. With their skilled hands and fully dedicated hearts they always created something unique, without ever neglecting the details.

In every creation we put not only effort and skill, but above all ourselves, our emotions, and our heart, because CapriNina
is mainly Love. For us, every 'creature' that takes shape is unique. Every time a bag or other handcrafted item leaves our workshop, it contains a little piece of us that goes with it around the world. As my mother used to say: the only way to do amazing work is to love what you do.
This is why we feel a bit like bearers of Emotions. We hope to transmit these feelings to anyone who owns our creations, much like an amulet to carry everywhere—because magic is needed everywhere.
